QUICK TIPS:

• to make things easier, the pages are numbered like this: I(issue #)-f(number)

• examples: i4-f6 would link to the 6th fiction piece in issue 4.

• i3-am2 would link to the 2nd art+media piece in issue 3.

• i5-nf8 would link to the 8th non fiction piece in issue 5 (and so on and so forth).

HOW TO LINK TO THE PDF VERSION OF THE ISSUE

• You’ll notice on each Top Nav page that the image of the PDF cover links to the file. Here’s how to do this:

WHAT TO DO IF YOU GET A PDF

• PDFs are a pain to copy+paste (you’ll have to format them by hand). To avoid this, make them into word docs or transfer to a google doc - the format will stay when you copy and paste from this format!

• Very rarely, we’ll get poems or fiction in PDF form but the text isn’t highlightable / copyable, meaning you would have to transcribe the text by hand (which would be a PAIN). This is most common for concrete poems that have a specific shape that the text has to take. Luckily, Squarespace allows you to link PDFs - here’s how to do this:

  • when going to link the “next page” button, don’t link the next page - link a PDF as you would for the Top Nav pages.
